I am a Colorado native raised in rural western Colorado and have lived in the Metro area for the last 20 years. I recently opened private practice after completing my Masters in Counseling Degree at Regis University. I completed undergraduate study at Naropa University (then Naropa Institute). There, I immersed myself in studying the world religions and Contemplative Psychology. I worked in the non-profit sector for ten years and have been counseling professionally for five.

    I counsel in my office adults and older adolescents. I am a client-centered integrative counselor with training in EMDR, (Look at EMDRIA’s website for definitions and standards.) Gestalt Therapy,  body centered, and equine facilitated mental health. I use practicality and humor in session with clients and prefer a collaborative relationship based on the individual’s culture, needs, and goals.

    I also coach equestrians with their horses to eliminate fear, find more peaceful and effective connections, and reach their performance goals. I am a devoted horsewoman and returned to my childhood love of riding at the age of 30.
